SnS Super 30 SMART Pathshala

What will be the layout of the SnS Super 30 SMART Pathshala and how it will work?

Super 30 SMART Pathshala will be established in the slum area. An independent covered space will be arranged where the students can do all the activities freely and without any distractions. A total of 30 promising girl children from less privileged backgrounds of ages between 5 to 8 years will be shortlisted and we will groom them holistically till they complete their secondary schooling. We believe that children are like wet clay and can be molded in any shape at this age. In the initial years, we will make the foundation strong for children so that when they will go to class 6th they easily understand all subjects. Class 6th is the base of formal education. These students will come to Pathshala after their school for 3 to 4 hours daily where our dedicated volunteers and mentors will groom them. They will also be prepared for various competitive exams and to get scholarships. All 30 students will be under our strict control till they complete their Secondary school. After that, they will get assistance from our other partners till they get to stand on their own feet. We will have Sukanya Samridhi bank accounts of all children where some amounts will be regularly deposited, which will be very helpful for their higher studies. Additionally, our “Chitanya” team will work for the welfare of their families and the “Ayushman” team will work for their health & hygiene. All the students will be given uniforms, books, and stationery. The center will be fully furnished and comfortable and will be equipped with all modern facilities like a tv, projector, CCTV, etc.

Status of our first-ever SnS Super 30 SMART Pathshala :

Our first ever "SnS Super 30 SMART Pathshala" is being established in MahavirVihar, Sector 1, Dwarka. A rented accommodation has already been taken. It has 3 big rooms with one Cabin. Already a play school was running on these premises before COVID and having all the basic infrastructure like benches, TV, CCTV, etc. Our Team Member Mrs. Seema Mittal, Ex. Air force School Principal has volunteered to head this center. A total of 5 members team will be there to run this center other than many visiting mentors.

What is the project cost?

For our very first batch of 30 girls, we have calculated all the expenditures as of now. It is around 36 thousand per month. The approximate Breakup is as follows:
per month Rent + Electricity+ cleaning: 15000/-
Teacher remuneration (for 3 mentors): 15000/-
Miscellaneous expenses( Uniforms, books, events): 6000/-
Total expenses: 36,000/-
Per student expense per month: 1200/-(approx.)
We will review our expenses after six months and will seek support from our well-wishers accordingly.

How the project will be funded?

To arrange funds for this project we are looking for CSR support from Corporates as well as to get individual sponsorship. We are already running a “Sponsor a Child” campaign and to date, we have 12 individual sponsors. Our very first center will start formally by 18 January.

How it will be financed?

For our very first center, we have calculated all the expenditures for the next two years. It is around 36 thousand per month. Means expense will be 1200/- per student per month as of now.
