Mr. Amod Poddar is founder of Stand N Stride. He was born and brought up in Patna. After complting B.Sc(Physics) in 1990 He did Aircraft Engineering from Indian Institute of Aeronautics, Patna, Bihar in 1994.Presently he is an Aircraft Engineer in a Private airlines in New Delhi. Since childhood he involved in many social activities and is associated with many social organizations. After getting inspiration from Swami Vivekananda and Dr. APJ Kalam he decided to serve the society by educating underprivileged children and established StandN Stride with his wife and co-founder Mrs. A K Vijayalaxmi in 2016.

Mrs. A K Vijayalaxmi is a co-founder of Stand N Stride. She was born and brought up in Bhagalpur, Bihar in an educationist family. Mrs. Vijayalaxmi, after completing her M.Sc(Botany) in 2003 from TM university, Bhagalpur, she did B.Ed in 2011 and further completed her M.ed from Rohtak University in 2020. She cracked CTET exam in 2014 conducted by CBSC. She got married with Mr. Amod Poddar (SnS founder) in 2000. She was passionate to be a educationist since college time but after her husband’s eagerness to help the society by educating underprivileged children she gave up her aspiration to be a professional faculty in any school/college and became the co founder of Stand N Stride in 2016.

As a Bachelor of Arts she started her career in 1978 with reputed organizations like NAHIDCO, Ansals, Management and Marketing Private Limited, Wall tops etc. in NCR region. During her tenure she attended on the job courses which gave her valuable exposure in the field of administration, institutional marketing and public relations. She managed to win the hearts of clients and top management despite tough competitions. She was recognized for her immense contribution to the corporate sector by the leadership and the people she worked with by the way of awards and incentives.

But education always remained her passion and the urge to make an impact on the lives of children especially the underprivileged made her transition from a corporate world to the education field. She started her journey as a teacher in LA Montessori Group of Schools which at the peak of its success had 25 schools under its brand. In the meantime she did her Bachelor of Education. After spending 15 years in teaching role, she was promoted as Vice Principal of the School based on her contribution to the institution. After serving as Vice Principal and Principal for 15 years she retired. She was awarded Shikshak Shri Award by the Indo Nepal SamrastaOrganization for her contribution in the field of education.At present she is associated as the chief advisor with the Leela Montessori School and an executive advisor with Bal Utsav Ramleela Samiti.

But the fire to do more for the society and economically underprivileged children was still burning deep in her heart. With an aim to bring about positive change in the lives of such children she joined Stand N Stride organization in 2016. Her passion and dedication made her back bone of the organization in a very short period. She is an asset to the organisationj.

Dr. Saroj Gulati was born and brought up in a town Rajpura in a land lord family of Punjab.After completing her graduation (B.Com)she persuaded herpost graduation(M.Com) from Punjab university Chandigarh in 1979. Immediately after M.Com She was selected in Haryana Education services in college cadre. During her job she persuaded her research work and awarded with Ph.D degree in 1994.After completed 36 + years in this cadre she retired as professor from IC College Rohtak in 2015 and shifted to Delhi with a motive not to join further job but give time to the society being an asset.

From the child hood she was involved in many social activities.In childhood she took part actively during China War 1962 Pakistan war 1965 and Bangladesh war 1971 for fund raising for our with public relation office Punjab.During college and job period she undertook many social drives like cleanliness ,health ,adult education and raised many issues in society favoring female regarding mal nutrition ,illiteracy ,inequality ,female feticide through different mediums. She headed the project ‘Immunity Drive’ for the female in rural areas with collaboration of Health Ministry and Red Cross Society as I was closely associated with Indian Red Cross Society.

Dr. Saroj Gulati joined us in 2018 and very soon became a part of our core team. She is an asset to our organization.
