Problem Statement

Problem statement Super 30

Despite possessing innate talents, a significant number of children, especially girls from economically weaker sections, encounter barriers that impede their ability to complete their school education. Issues such as illiterate parents, lack of awareness, frequent migration for livelihood, inadequate school facilities etc. contribute to this grim situation. Girls in these families continue to suffer from gender inequality, domestic responsibilities and the specter of early marriages . Most of these children, particularly girls, do not enter a classroom until the age of 7 or 8, leading to a
delayed start and undiscovered talent. This missed opportunity for crucial grooming during the formative years of primary schooling results in a weak educational foundation, making it challenging for these children to cope with more advanced subjects when they progress to secondary classes. Consequently, these challenges hinder their educational journey and limit their potential contributions to society. Sadly, this often leads to early school dropout, preventing society from benefiting from these hidden gems—potential doctors, leaders, and scientists—who remain undiscovered due to untapped talent.

Solution

Solution super 30

In response to this challenge, Stand N Stride Foundation introduces the SnS Super 30 Pathshala program. Leveraging our extensive experience and analyzing available information, this initiative addresses the root cause by focusing on building a robust educational foundation for children at the critical age of 8 to 11 years. Recognizing that children, like wet clay, can be molded at this stage, our program provides early intervention essential for their development. This flagship program selects 15 to 20 promising children, especially girls, from weaker sections of a particular locality and provides them holistic grooming with a strong basic educational foundation.
To facilitate this, we set up a well-equipped center called the SnS Super 30 Pathshala in their locality with all modern facilities. The program emphasizes parental counseling, coordination with school authorities, and foundational
learning during the primary years, with the ultimate goal of empowering these children to realize their potential. Our initiative envisions not only making education accessible but ensuring these children thrive academically and contribute significantly to society. Through the SnS Super 30 Pathshala program, we aim to foster a generation of educated, confident, and empowered  young individuals who break the cycle of limited opportunities and contribute positively to their communities. An effort of converting carbon into diamonds.

Details of Program and Steps for its implementation / Methodology

Program Details & Duration: 3+1 Years (Class 3rd to Class 6th)

The Super 30 initiative is a transformative after-school program spanning four years, dedicated to nurturing the potential of promising children, especially girls, entering the 3rd grade from economically weaker sections, mainly studying in government schools in specific localities (JJ colonies). The first three years (class 3rd to class 5th) will be part of the Primary Schooling Program. We will employ a holistic approach, utilizing cutting-edge educational technology and methodologies to establish a robust foundation that empowers these young minds and prepares them for future challenges. Our utmost effort will be to help these children gain admission to reputable secondary schools.
In the fourth year, when the children are admitted to class 6th in Secondary School, we will provide comprehensive support in their studies, ensuring their understanding of each subject and helping them realize any hidden talents. From class 7th onwards, until class 12th, every child will be under our monitoring system, receiving assistance as needed.
After completing class 12th, our career counseling team will help these children choose a career path of their choice and may sponsor their higher education, depending on the availability of sponsors.
This initiative recognizes the critical need for support in primary education, especially for girls, to bridge the gap in educational opportunities and provide a solid foundation for their future.

  • Establishment of SnS Super 30 Pathshala: Centers will be opened in various slum areas of Delhi/NCR, named SnS Super Striders Pathshala. Each center will admit a maximum 15 children in class 3rd, with a primary focus on girls for better care and management. The number of children admitted will depend on the availability of infrastructure. Our first priority will be girls to ensure they receive the support and education they need.
  • Parental Counseling and Awareness Campaigns: Conduct frequent counseling and awareness campaigns among parents.
Coordination with School Authorities:Ensure strong coordination with school authorities where the children are
studying to work as a team for the holistic growth of the children.
  • Creating a Cordial Home Environment: Conduct one-to-one counseling sessions with parents, particularly mothers, to foster a cordial environment at home. Encourage mothers not to burden their daughters with household work, allowing them to focus on their studies.
  • Modern Teaching Tools and Qualified Teachers: Equip the center with modern teaching tools. Employ well-qualified
    teachers to provide quality education.
  • Extended Learning Hours: Students will spend three to four hours at the center every day after their regular school hours, receiving holistic education imbued with good values.
  • Talent Identification: Assess each student for hidden talents such as dance, music, singing, sports, etc.
  • Preparation for Competitive Exams: Additional preparation for various competitive exams.
  • Provision of Essentials: Provide books, stationery, and uniforms to all enrolled students.
  • Educational Tours: Organize frequent educational tours.
  • Continuous Monitoring and Support: After graduating from the Super 30 Center, closely monitor and support all students until they complete their secondary school. Provide assistance for higher studies or skill development training based on their capabilities and feasibility.
The Super 30 initiative aims not only to impart education but to create a comprehensive support system that
empowers these children to excel academically and contribute meaningfully to society.
