Board Of Directors
Mr. Amod Poddar, born in Patna, is an Aircraft Engineer and founder of Stand N Stride. Inspired by Swami Vivekananda and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, he established the organization in 2016 with his wife, Mrs. A K Vijayalaxmi, to educate underprivileged children. He is active in various social causes.
Mrs. A K Vijayalaxmi, co-founder of Stand N Stride, hails from Bhagalpur, Bihar. After completing her M.Sc and M.Ed, she cleared the CTET in 2014. Inspired by her husband’s vision to educate underprivileged children, she co-founded Stand N Stride in 2016, setting aside her professional teaching aspirations.
Beginning her career in 1978 with NAHIDCO and Ansals, she thrived in administration and marketing before shifting to education. After 15 years at LA Montessori as Vice Principal, she received the Shikshak Shri Award. She joined Stand N Stride in 2016, dedicated to educating underprivileged children.
Dr. Saroj Gulati, originally from Rajpura, Punjab, earned her B.Com and M.Com from Punjab University before joining Haryana Education Services. After a 36-year career, she retired as a professor in 2015. Relocating to Delhi, she committed to social causes and has been a key contributor to Stand N Stride since 2018.

With over three decades of experience across industries, Ms. Pande brings a wealth of expertise to our organization. Her impressive background includes senior roles at Aptech, Tata Group, GE Capital, American Express, HSBC, and IBM.
As a certified assessor for Malcolm Baldrige Quality, ISO certification, and Six Sigma, Ms. Pande is a champion of quality and excellence. Her experience as a Diversity Champion at GE, American Express, HSBC, and IBM further underscores her commitment to inclusivity.
Currently, Ms. Pande advises and coaches start-ups, leveraging her HR and operational excellence expertise. She’s also a prolific writer, having published eight books.
As a Data & Analytics Leader at Amazon, Virginia, USA, Mr. Jain brings extensive experience and leadership skills to our organization.
With strong ties to his Indian roots, Mr. Jain is passionate about supporting underprivileged communities, particularly in promoting girls’ education. We’re confident that his strategic guidance and expertise will help us achieve our goals.
As the founder and CEO of PURE India Trust, Mr. Pal is a trailblazer in India’s social sector. His trust has empowered thousands of underprivileged women across India, enabling them to become self-sufficient entrepreneurs.
Mr. Pal’s vision extends to strengthening grassroots NGOs, providing training, and fostering growth. Notably, he has mentored Stand N Stride Foundation, guiding us to our current stature. We’re honored to have him on board, leveraging his expertise, motivation, and writing skills to propel our organization to new heights.
